  Judy Stoehr Creative Insights offers workshops and speeches to educators on topics such as: Differentiated Instruction; At-Risk Learners; Literacy; Applying Brain Research in the Classroom;  Integrating the Curriculum; Team Planning; Standards-Based Planning, Instruction, and Assessment; Professional Learning Communities; Integrating the Fine Arts; Curriculum Mapping; Integrating Technology into Instruction; Creating Effective Schools; and others.

 

Judy Stoehr, owner of the company, assists K-12 school districts and colleges in designing and implementing curricula and programs. She trains coaches and mentors, designs and teaches distance-learning classes, and speaks to parents on how they can help their children succeed in school. In addition, she is an independent consultant for NUA (National Urban Alliance) in urban schools with a focus on closing the achievement gap by developing literacy.

 

Judy is comfortable in any setting, whether it be urban or rural, and with educators and students at all grade levels. She is a master teacher and coach, and consistently models "walking the walk" through her work. In addition to her work with teachers, Judy often presents seminars and speeches to administrators and supervisors on topics such as Change and Leadership.

 




 

 

About the founder

 

Judy Stoehr is founder and owner of Judy Stoehr Creative Insights. She is an international keynote speaker and trainer, facilitator, educator, author, composer, and coach.

 

Judy is the co-author of Integrating the Curricula Through Multiple Intelligences, which is currently under revision for publication by Corwin Press. She is the primary author of Getting Started: Projects for the Integrated Curriculum, published by Zephyr Press, and author of Leader to Leader, published by T.H.E., Inc. Judy is the lead author of the elementary Music/Fine Arts Series, Music Expressions (2003), and Project Manager and Editor of the K-12 Expressions Music Curriculum, published by Warner Bros. Publications. In addition, she is the creator and author of several elementary theme-based musicals, also published by Warner Bros. Publications. At this time, Judy is writing two books: one on academic coaching and one on differentiated instruction.

 



 

 

Judy has experience teaching elementary through college levels and is a former supervisor for the Hacienda-LaPuente School District in California. Following her years in the classroom, Judy served as a national consultant for the Silver Burdett Ginn Company for ten years. She is currently an independent consultant for the National Urban Alliance and Robin Fogarty & Associates, Ltd.
